From the time you request a repeat prescription, it takes an average of 6 working days to get your medicine. To minimise interruptions in medicine delivery, we recommend that all patients submit their repeat prescription request 8 working days before their medication is set to expire.
Please keep in mind that these timeframes will be extended if you do not pay for your prescription on time or if your medication is not in stock.

Contact the clinic you obtained your prescription from to request a repeat. You can do this via your Patient Dashboard, using the login details emailed to you when you completed your initial eligibility check.
Keep a copy of your most recent prescription and calculate how long the medication will last. We then advise that you notify your specialist prescriber about when you get your prescription and when you expect to run out of your medicinal cannabis.
We recommend that you request a repeat prescription at least 10 days before your current one expires. This will provide them ample time to provide us with your prescription, allowing you to request your medication from MARUCANNA.
If you’ve been doing well with your medicine, the specialised prescriber will most likely agree to issue a repeat prescription.
You may need to contact your expert prescriber or schedule an appointment if you are suffering from pain conditions, and want to arrange to do one of the following:

Your medication is paid for separately. We will give you with a link to do so once we get your prescription.
A repeat prescription for your medical cannabis will be mailed to us by your qualified prescriber. If this does not happen, you will need to email us a photo of your repeat prescription and send us a printed copy in the mail. We must have the original physical copy in order to legally administer your medication.
After receiving your medicine, make a note on your calendar of when to get your next prescription. We recommend scheduling this appointment 10 days before you’re due to run out of medicine.
