Business address:
Suite 4, 1752 Coventry Road, Yardley, Birmingham, B26 1PB.
Our contact details are present on this page.
“You / Your” refers to the patient,
“We, us, our, the clinic” refers to MARUCANNA Ltd.
These are the terms and circumstances under which we provide our services to you, the Clinic’s private patient.
Before using our services, please carefully read these terms. The way we will serve you is outlined in these agreements.
Please note the following:
If you have any questions regarding the information provided to you by the Clinic or if your condition changes after seeing one of our physicians, you must contact us or another healthcare provider for additional guidance.
If any therapy, medication, or healthcare product that one of our doctors has suggested for you causes you to have unanticipated or unfavourable side effects, you should seek emergency medical attention. We advise keeping any patient records that come with the medications that the clinic prescribes so that other healthcare professionals can help you if you ever need emergency medical attention.
You understand and agree that any information published in any patient information, including material pertaining to medicinal cannabis, or shown on our website is for general informational purposes only and should not be construed as medical advice.
Our services and charges
For individuals with pre-existing diseases for whom prior or present prescriptions for licenced drugs have failed to provide relief from their symptoms or have resulted in unbearable side effects, we provide consultations and medical cannabis care. MARUCANNA is not a diagnostic service, even though doctors who are on a specialist registration with the GMC will start therapy using it. Prescriptions written by the Clinic should be taken exactly as directed in order to help patients who are experiencing symptoms of diseases that have previously been identified by other agencies.
Your symptoms may be relieved by medical cannabis medication; our doctors will assess you to determine this. Our team of knowledgeable medical professionals will take into account your demands, national guidelines, and medical history. You acknowledge and agree that none of our doctors will promise to write a prescription for medicinal marijuana for you. Prescriptions are only written at our doctors’ discretion. The clinical multidisciplinary team may offer medical cannabis treatment(s) for a variety of symptoms and ailments; but, before making a final prescription decision, they might need additional specific information from your general practitioner or another expert.
MARUCANNA appointments are made available to you at our sole discretion and are subject to availability. We cannot promise that a certain physician will always be available.
MARUCANNA needs complete and correct medical history information, and you consent to:
(i) Give MARUCANNA this information, which includes the intake form filed via our patient portal together with a completed patient declaration and a photo ID, at least three working days before your initial examination. At every visit, this ID has to be present so that an accurate likeness may be verified.
(ii) After registering with MARUCANNA, tell the clinic of any modifications to your medical status or prescriptions you may have received from other sources.
You consent to fill out thorough questionnaires on your present symptoms and how they affect your day-to-day activities as part of the diagnostic procedure. The questionnaire(s) will be sent to you again as part of your follow-up sessions, and you will be required to complete them at least once every quarter in order to help evaluate your treatment with cannabis-based medications. Your cooperation with the clinic and attendance at follow-up consultations are prerequisites for continued prescription. A prescription cannot be altered for a clinical service without first undergoing examination.
You will need to present your photo ID and National Health Number in order to make an appointment. At the start of the appointment, this ID will be needed to confirm your identity. In order to inform your doctor or other healthcare practitioner about the consultation and any prescription drugs that may have been provided as a result of it, we will need your permission to do so. If you refuse or revoke your permission for our doctors to speak with your general practitioner, MARUCANNA will be unable to offer you with our services.
We might not be able to offer you our services if you do not give us the information we require. If you fail to give the necessary information prior to an appointment, or if the information you do provide does not accurately reflect your health state as you have represented it to us, we will not be held accountable for providing the services late or not at all.
You are aware of the fact that receiving a prescription for medicinal cannabis from one of our specialists is not a given. Prescriptions are only written at our doctors’ discretion. Our doctors’ prescriptions for medicinal marijuana are imported from licenced foreign suppliers.
Your medication will be sent to you via a medical prescription from a pre-selected pharmacy. Prescription dispensing times might differ. You acknowledge and agree that the cost of filling private prescriptions varies depending on the filling pharmacy; neither the Clinic nor the prescribing doctor have any influence over this. Whether and how much you have your prescriptions filled is entirely up to you.
Unless we have specifically agreed upon a different price in writing, the costs for the consultation with one of our physicians are those listed on our website on the day you schedule an appointment. Before scheduling your consultation, we will verify our rates and demand full payment. The chosen chemist who fills your prescription for your medicine will need to be paid.
While appointments are free of VAT, our pricing do include VAT at the appropriate amount if any of our services are subject to it.
Our right to make changes.
Without giving you previous notice, we may alter our services to take into account modifications to applicable laws and regulations as well as business needs, such as the unavailability of a specific doctor or appointment time. Furthermore, we reserve the right to modify these conditions without giving you any previous notice. Our website will constantly be updated with these terms and any changes.

If you would want to change or cancel your appointment with MARUCANNA, please contact us by phone or email at least one day in advance of the scheduled appointment. If the appointment is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled date of the appointment, a refund will be issued. If the appointment isn’t cancelled with 48 hours’ notice, we have the right to deduct part or all of the appointment fee to pay our administrative expenses.
